Making a difference through education
At MADE, everything we do is inspired by our enduring mission and our core beliefs. Everyone at MADE understands that to be successful in our mission (and) as a company, we need to work in an ethical manner and to consistently deliver over and above expectations.
- To help young people attain the best possible results from their education
- To raise the aspirations and confidence of young people
- To make a difference through education and training
‘’The ‘Exams MADE Easy’ sessions were excellent and the students gained a lot from them. It would be great if we could have MADE to come again, the students really took the trainer and he was brilliant with them. We have already recommended your company to a number of local schools and other academies. In terms of the impact on the students they are all still talking about it and demanding revision sessions! I would totally recommend MADE as the sessions were exactly what our students needed. Thank you again.’’

Informative and engaging CPD sessions
Research shows, that to effect a change and move towards a new behaviour in an academic institution it is most effective to work with both the students and staff. Sustainable change happens when everyone in a team is pulling in the same direction. MADE Training offers staff development sessions across a variety of topics and in a number of different formats to fit in with your training and logistical requirements. We can deliver a one hour twilight session or a complete INSET training day.
If you want to see a long-lasting change, we recommend that you actively pursue the new skills and techniques learnt, for at least two terms. From our experience, sustained experimentation and refinement is the best way of embedding a behaviour in everyday practice.
Our workshops will kick-start this process. The follow-up resources will then help you to plan how to continue the learning throughout the programme for change. Where required, we can revisit your institution to conduct refresher, coaching and monitoring sessions to assist your staff in maintaining their new, successful habits.
Staff leadership - This workshop has been designed to enable staff to explore and practise techniques within the areas of both organisational and personal leadership.
Working with trust - To help staff understand the value of high trust and to enable them to develop more positive, productive and cooperative relationships.
Studying revision - Introducing teachers, mentors and support staff to a range of studying and revision techniques aimed at making their teaching and the students' learning more effective and exciting.
Target setting - Enabling staff to assist students in setting targets and creating action plans. Chosen correctly, these can help students to make the necessary changes in their lives to reach their full potential.
