Arts On The Move

Arts On The Move is a versatile and innovative company run by Alison Chaplin, a qualified and experienced teacher, lecturer and youth theatre director. In operation since 1995, the company prides itself on providing high-quality workshops, resources, information, advice and support for drama, theatre and arts practitioners.

Arts On The Move believes that creativity opens the doors of learning where other subjects fail to even rattle the window, and that creativity is what gives any society its heart. Everyone has some creativity within them, and the joy of discovering it raises self-esteem like nothing else.

At the centre of any creative activity is the ethos of shared experience. Even the act of reading a book is a shared experience between reader and author. Arts On The Move strives to share its knowledge, experience, and the joy of its creative encounters with its customers. Further to this, the company is now forging links with other specialist arts practitioners who will, in turn, share their knowledge and skills.

Arts On The Move is therefore a company which continues to deliver high-quality workshops, resources, information, advice and support whilst simultaneously evolving by striving to provide for an ever increasing customer base.

DRAMA WORKSHOPS/INSETS

Arts On The Move utilises the skills of a select group of experienced and respected drama teachers to deliver fabulous drama workshops for schools and drama INSET courses for teachers.

The drama workshops and teacher training courses offered cover a wide variety of subjects, from maths to masks, from music to mini beasts. All workshops for schools and teacher INSET courses are drama-based, or drama-related.

All of the Arts On The Move associate drama teachers will also create drama workshops or drama INSET courses to meet your specific needs.
